ROCHESTER, NH – In support of the “Thank a Rochester Cop” committee’s September initiative, twenty-two art students from Spaulding High School volunteered their time to paint storefront windows at The Ridge Marketplace, showing appreciation for the Rochester Police Department. The students spent an entire day decorating the windows of several local businesses, including Evviva Trattoria, Confident Med Spa, Eastern Paradise, Tropical Smoothie Café, Sonny’s Tavern, and Waterstone Properties Group.

Their creative efforts will be displayed at these locations through the week of September 23rd, adding a colorful tribute to law enforcement. To thank the students for their hard work, Evviva Trattoria provided a special lunch for the group.

Rochester residents are encouraged to join in by showing support for the Police Department in anticipation of National Thank a Police Officer Day on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Suggestions include displaying yard signs, decorating with blue bows, or using blue lights at homes or businesses.

The “Thank a Rochester Cop” committee extends its gratitude to Profile Bank for generously sponsoring this year’s activities. For more information and a list of additional sponsors, visit www.thankarc.com or follow them on Facebook at facebook.com/ThankARochesterCop.
