Parts of Cape Cod saw “impressive rainfall” from the coastal storm that brought precipitation to the state from Thursday to Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

While Western Massachusetts saw little to no rain, Cape Cod and Nantucket saw between 5 inches to almost a foot of precipitation, according to the service. The highest totals were reported in Chatham, where rainfall totals were reported in the range of 8.38 to 11.69 inches.

“Despite the heavy rainfall, because it occurred over several days and in an area that has been dry the last couple of months, no significant flooding impacts were reported,” the service said.

While Boston saw much less rain from the storm, just around an inch, the rainfall on Thursday marked the city’s first measurable precipitation in 30 days, according to WBZ meteorologist Terry Eliasen. It ended Boston’s longest dry spell in decades.

“All I can say is thank goodness this storm didn’t come in winter!” Eliasen wrote on X of the recent storm. “A few flakes in Boston and a few feet of snow on the Cape!”

According to the National Weather Service, possible rain returns to the region late Wednesday into Thursday as another front moves through the area.

Below, a look at some of the highest rainfall totals reported from the weekend’s stormy weather:

    • Chatham — 11.69 in.
    • Brewster — 8.28 in.
    • Dennis — 8.10 in.
    • Harwich — 7.87 in.
    • Orleans — 7.02 in.
    • Eastham — 6.65 in.
    • Yarmouth — 6.07 in.
    • Nantucket — 5.34 in.
