AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A new Chick-fil-A restaurant located at 58th and Georgia will open for customers on Thursday.

According to officials, the new location joins four other Chick-fil-A restaurants serving Amarillo. The new location will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, curbside pickup and third-party delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Chick-fil-A officials have selected Amberly Kokolis as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of the new location.

“As the local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A 58th & Georgia, I am committed to serving others and leading with care,” said Kokolis. “I am so excited to empower our Team Members to care for everyone who visits our restaurant!”

Chick-fil-A said the new location would bring approximately 100 full- and part-time jobs to the area.

Officials note that, as part of the opening, the company donated $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts at the High Plains Food Bank. Kokolis’s restaurant plans to participate in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that redirects surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and nonprofits in need.

Officials further said the new Chick-fil-A location will recognize 100 local heroes impacting the Amarillo area by providing them with free Chick-fil-A entrees for a year.
