    Week 5 Game of the Week: Mission vs. McAllen Memorial

    HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Our Game of the Week for the fifth week of the high school football season takes us to McAllen.

    McAllen Memorial will host Mission in a District 16-5A Division I contest.

    The Mustangs began district play with a 42-0 win over Rio Grande City.

    The Eagles opened district play with a 24-21 loss against Vela.

    Friday’s game at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

    We will be broadcasting live at the stadium leading up to kickoff.
