Man Found Shot in South Los Angeles Neighborhood

VERMONT-SLAUSON, LOS ANGELES, Sept. 23 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division officers responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down in front of a residence in the 7200 block of South Bonsallo Avenue in the Vermont-Slauson neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

When officers arrived at the scene shortly after 2 a.m., they located a 50-year-old male down on the sidewalk, suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

There is no suspect description or further details at this time.
