The minor was transported by Crown Point Fire Rescue to Franciscan Crown Point in serious condition. The minor was later transported to Chicago for further treatment.</p><p>The driver of the vehicle involved did remain at the scene. The matter is currently under investigation by Crown Point Police and the South Lake County Crash Reconstruction Team.</p></div></body>
