Eva Joldersma Earns Crossroads League Attacker of the Week Honors

MARION, Ind. — Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball standout Eva Joldersma has been recognized as the Crossroads League Attacker of the Week, marking her first award of the 2024 season and the ninth time she has received this honor in her collegiate career. The announcement came from the league office on Monday.

“Eva continues to be a standout on our team,” expressed Head Coach Candace Moats. “She works hard for her teammates and supports them every day as a respected leader on our team!”

Joldersma showcased her exceptional skills last week, averaging an impressive 5.5 kills per set with a hitting percentage of .359. Her performance was instrumental in Indiana Wesleyan’s victories over No. 16 Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU) and Huntington. Notably, she recorded 21 kills and 11 digs during the Wildcats’ sweep of the previously unbeaten MVNU, solidifying her status as a key player on the court.

The Wildcats will look to build on their momentum as they face No. 22 Marian University this Wednesday at 7:00 PM in Indianapolis.
