His final Instagram post, made just a day before his death, now appears chilling in hindsight. Big Boogie posted multiple photos of Big Jook on his IG Story, leaving a heartfelt message: “This has to be a dream, bro. You left us like that. My heart is broken.” Meanwhile, Meek posted on his IG Story a dated photo of Big Jook, Yo Gotti and another man wearing Free Meek Mill T-shirts captioned. “RIP JOOK [crying face emoji]”.. <h2 class="wp-block-heading"> When and where was Big Jook killed in Memphis? </h2> According to the Memphis <a href="https://www.the-sun.com/topic/police/" rel="nofollow"> Police </a> Department, an officer near 6385 Winchester Road heard gunshots around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 13. Police stated that Mims was found inside a vehicle at the scene, which was located outside Perignon’s Restaurant and Event Center. Mims had been attending a repass following the funeral of his relative, Eric Bovan. <nbtemplate data-id="AdPlaceholder" data-content="JTdCJTdE"></nbtemplate> Eric was a prominent Memphis cocaine kingpin from the 1980s and former head of the Bovan Family. He had a past connection to Yo Gotti and Big Jook’s family, and passed away on December 31 at the age of 63. As of now, the Memphis Police Department has not made any arrests in connection with Big Jook’s death.
