CHICAGO — The windows of at least eight parked vehicles were smashed overnight on the city’s Northwest Side.

The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday on the 3600-3800 block of North Nordica in the Dunning neighborhood.

Police said a man broke the driver’s side and passenger side windows of eight parked cars. Only one of the vehicles had property stolen from it.

Man, 56, shot and killed while sitting in front room of a home in Woodlawn neighborhood, Chicago police say

The offender fled the scene afterwards in a dark-colored sedan.

No one is in custody. No further details have been provided by police.

Get ready, it's only going to get worse. Crime isn't down, arrests may be down due to the manpower shortage and the fact that even when an arrest is made the State Attorney doesn't charge them properly
