ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office released video captured by its drone unit while attempting to arrest 24-year-old Dominic Detwiler on September 11, 2024.

Video shows 21-year-old fleeing from APD in his ‘girlfriend’s’ car

BCSO says its SWAT team and the U.S. Marshals Task Force sent in the drone after unsuccessful attempts to get Detwiler to come out of an apartment. The drone captures footage of Detwiler hiding in the bathroom ceiling, before he eventually comes down and surrenders to law enforcement. Officials say Detwiler was wanted for multiple felony warrants.
