He had a good attorney. ‘heat of passion’ wouldn’t fly with me if I were a juror because of the loaded gun. Was he walking around the house with it on his person before the argument and then, in a rage “passion” pulled it and fired or did he recover the gun from a distance then return and open fire? The fact she was sitting on the sofa tells me he already had her trapped, under his control and then had a ‘fuck it’ moment and executed her.
