'Outlander's Sam Heughan Marks Major Milestone With Co-Stars in New Photos

Sam Heughan and the rest of his Outlander colleagues are marking a major milestone for the series this month.

In a new photo spread for Entertainment Weekly , the beloved actor was dressed in his full Outlander garb alongside several other members of the cast and crew to celebrate the 100th episode of the Starz series, which, unfortunately for fans, marks the second to last episode.

In photos uploaded by the actor to Instagram, he was surrounded by fellow castmates Caitriona Balfe and David Berry , who were also decked out in their costumes and wigs, while executive producer Matthew B. Roberts stood in a pair of blue jeans and a black zip-up, all smiling as Heughan cut an impressively decorated and appropriately massive cake with a sword to mark the occasion. Although, while speaking with the publication , he suggested that they needed an even "bigger cake."

A close-up of the cake shows a central panel, likely printed on edible paper, declaring, "Outlander 100 episodes!" with a sword emblazoned through the middle. The frosting around it was decorated to look like stone or dirt, with blueberries, blackberries, and floral arrangements completing the look.

Other photos show Balfe taking the sword in her own hand, pausing for a quick selfie with her co-star in what one fan dubbed the "Selfie everyone’s been waiting for!"

"All my love and admiration! 😍 you guys’re so fantastic! Congrets! 🫶🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⚔️🥃," they added.

"Love the selfie 😍 We love you all so much ❤️ Thank you for everything 🥰😘," another added, while many others mourned how little there is to go of the show.

Fans have been feeling emotional about the impending end, especially since Heughan shared a photo from the cast's "final read-through" last month .

"I’ll never be the same.. will miss you all so much!💖💚💖," one fan lamented.

"What an amazing journey you all have been on. And what an incredible show you’ve made. ❤️," another raved.
