The meeting aimed to strengthen the integrity of Jewish education and ensure the safety of New York’s diverse communities.The delegation included State Senators Iwen Chu of Brooklyn, New York, Sean Ryan of Buffalo, and Jeremy Cooney of Rochester. They were joined by Rabbi Yoel Rosenfeld of Bobov, and Rabbi Yeruchim Silber of Agudas Yisrael of America. Representing Crown Heights Jewish Community Council (CHJCC) were Board Members Meir New and Dovid Halon, alongside Rabbis Eli Cohen and Chanina Sperlin.The discussion centered on the importance of the State allowing communities to chart their own course in the education of their children and of safeguarding Jewish educational values and traditions.
