Jaylen Brown Makes Big Change to Personal Appearance at NBA Media Day

The 2024-25 NBA season is right around the corner, as evidenced by the reigning champions in the Boston Celtics partaking in their media day on Tuesday.

While the C's roster is still loaded heading into the new campaign, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are the two guys who draw the most attention given their billing as the team's top two players.

All eyes were on Brown at media day after his bumpy offseason was highlighted by his controversial snub on Team USA's 2024 Summer Olympics squad. He was all smiles on Tuesday, though, and fans quickly noticed he had shaved his beard ahead of the new season, although he ensured everyone that it would be back in no time at all.

While the beard isn't totally gone for Brown it's not nearly as present as it has been for much of his career, which is why fans were able to pick up on the change so quickly.

While opinion on Brown's new look seemed to be split, he seems intent on growing it back out, similar to how his fellow star teammate in Tatum shaved his head for the Olympics, but returned to Boston sporting his usual curly hairdo.

Chances are if Brown goes out and plays like he did during the 2024 NBA Playoffs, when he won Finals MVP for the C's, fans won't care what he looks like, so long as it helps Boston on their quest to repeat as champions.
