    Muscogee County Coroner seeking help in locating family of 62-year-old killed by car

    COLUMBUS, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The Muscogee County Coroner is seeking assistance in locating the family of a 62-year-old man who was killed after being struck by a car Friday.

    Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says the man’s name is Gerald Norman.

    Bryan pronounced Norman dead at the scene at about 10:00 p.m. Friday night. Columbus police say Norman was killed after being struck by a vehicle near 5th Avenue and 20th Street.

    Anyone with information about Norman’s family is asked to call the coroner 706-653-3260 or 911.
