I certainly noticed this year the metal detectors were OFF and they were just waving people on in, at the entrance right near the Xfinity main stage. Additionally they had hand held ones all over the place, visibly were laying around on tables not one being used. I remember thinking, this is gonna take at least a half hour at the gates but nope. I didn’t encounter any drama, however that felt like blatant disregard for safety right there.
