Man charged with attempted homicide, accused of beating his parents in Crafton

A 36-year-old man is in the Allegheny County Jail for allegedly beating his parents in Crafton Tuesday morning.

Allegheny County police have filed attempted homicide and two counts of aggravated assault charges against Michael Provenzano.

Provenzano's dad and mom were taken to the hospital and are in critical condition.

Witnesses saw a man sitting on the front porch, when they approaching him, he walked toward the back of the residence.

Crafton police arrived and identified Provenzano and County Police determined he was responsible for the assault.
