WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — 3 people were arrested on Tuesday in Waterbury in relation to a stolen motorcycle investigation, according to police.

Police said that the suspects arrived in Waterbury on Friday night with a stolen motorcycle on a truck and trailer. Officers said that they changed the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the motorcycle, but they were able to match other numbers to determine that it was stolen.

Khalid El-Massri, 22, Noordadeen El-Massri, 21, and a 16-year-old female juvenile were arrested. Both Khalid El-Massri and Noordadeen El-Massri were found in possession of firearms, and are facing firearm-related charges.

All suspects were charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of a motor vehicle with a changed VIN.

Police did not specify if Khalid El-Massri and Nordadeen El-Massri are related.
