Leave it to Fanatics to accidentally make a product that's so bad, it's good . And leave it to the Oakland Athletics to craft a hat that perfectly and ironically encapsulates their entire existence into one piece of apparel. This is one of those things where it just makes zero sense how it got past quality and design checks, and I can assure you that it is 100 percent real. Who knew that the toxic, fan-hating organization known as the Oakland A's would finally put out merchandise that's perfect for those fed up fans that have been protesting the team's mediocrity - and relocation - over the past couple of years? It seems as though a team hat was released with that group of disgusted fans in mind, and they've become very popular online. Why? Well, the "Men's Oakland Athletics New Era Green Team Shadow 9FIFTY Snapback Hat," which was listed for $36.99, could not have put a more accurate label of the team right on the front of the hat. And I'll just let you see for yourself what I mean by that: https://twitter.com/rgodfrey/status/1838607673983479923 I can't get over how hilarious that is. How do you not realize that you are putting out a hat with profanity (funny and well placed, might I add) plastered front and center on it? As I mentioned earlier, the hat is real and was listed on the Fanatics website for quite some time. It was then briefly marked as "Sold Out," and it's not clear if that's truly because people bought all of them up, or if the A's finally realized their mistake. It was also available on the MLB Shop, but is now missing from there as well. Both websites just take you back to the homepage when you click on the respective product links. Personally, I sure hope that fans were actually able to order them. It's a perfect statement piece, and as social media pointed out, the hats fit right in with the rest of the Oakland Athletics organization:
And just for reference, here's an example of what the design looks like for another team: https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=19SBkF_0viCklFX00
