WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A juvenile in Warren was taken to the Trumbull County Juvenile Justice Center Friday after a man was treated at the hospital for cuts to his hands.

Officers were called about 9:45 p.m. to the 2800 block of Front Street SW on reports of a stabbing. When they arrived, officers said they encountered a juvenile holding a knife and a male victim who was bleeding from both of his hands ran toward them.

The suspect dropped the knife when ordered to do so and was handcuffed.

The victim said he and the suspect drove to a church parking lot where they had sex and then the suspect wanted to drive to a hotel. An argument ensued when the victim would not let her drive because he said she did not have a license. The fight grew physical when the victim pulled the girl out of the car and she began punching him, the report stated. The two wrestled to the ground and the suspect got up and grabbed a knife out of the victim’s car and attempted to stab him, cutting the victim twice, the report stated.

The victim, who the report said is from Austintown, was taken to the hospital for treatment and the suspect was taken into custody.

The evidence was logged into evidence and a copy of the report was sent over to the Juvenile Justice Center for review.
