<body><div>(Juneau) The Dodge County treasurer is reminding taxpayers that the late lottery credit deadline is approaching. Kris Keith says residents should review their 2023 tax bill to see if they received the lottery credit. If eligible, the public can apply by October 1st. To check if you received the credit, Keith says look on the top right of your tax bill. She adds that the lottery credit is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. To qualify, you must be a Wisconsin resident, own a dwelling and use it as your primary residence as of January 1st each year. A property owner may only claim one credit. Keith says if you did receive the lottery credit, and your property remains your primary residence on January 1st each year, the credit will remain on your property. She notes that you do not have to re-apply each year.
