“Classroom time is sacred time,” that was the message shared by L-P Superintendent Dr. Steven Wrobleski to members of the Peru Rotary Club recently. Wrobleski provided an update on L-P's new cellphone policy with it now being enforced for a little over a month now. The superintendent says 98 percent of L-P's more than 1,200 students comply with not using their phones in a classroom. Wrobleski says school staff is confiscating eight to 10 phones on an average school day.
