The weekend slate of games is inching close, content is everywhere, and we have you covered through it all. Take a look at today’s links, plus the content coming your way on our site.</p><h2>The PAC is suing the Mountain West. </h2><p>In the latest chapter of “As Conference Realignment Turns”, the PAC12 has filed a lawsuit against the Mountain West and the poaching fees owed to them. This one seems tough for the PAC to actually have a case. After all, they agreed to the poaching fees when they signed the scheduling agreement last year. But the PAC is saying they felt coerced and the agreement is made in bad faith. It’s hard to see the PAC winning this. On the other hand, they may as well try and see what you can get away with. Perhaps the fees they need to pay will be reduced. </p><h2>Utah State consistently inconsistent. </h2><p>Turning some attention back to the field, let’s look at the newest school leaving the MW for the PAC, which was officially announced Tuesday night. They are 1-3 for the third straight season and overall look to be a work in progress as a team. Outside of four quarters spread out over three different games, the Aggies have been outscored 142-39. Drives have stalled, which has led to the team being ranked 112th in scoring. The defense isn’t great at stopping the run and is even worse at rushing the passer. They aren’t easy answers for these problems, but the bye week will hopefully help. </p><h2>Bowl Projections</h2><p>This week, Action Network has the Rebels in the College Football Playoff, losing to Texas in the first round. As for the rest of the conference, San Jose State is in the Arizona Bowl and Fresno State is in the Hawaii Bowl. Then, Boise State will play in the LA Bowl.
