Kim Porter's four children have broken their silence, saying claims that the late model wrote a memoir about her life with Sean "Diddy" Combs are false.

In a joint statement shared on Instagram Tuesday night, Sept. 24, Quincy Brown, 33, Christian Combs, 26, Jessie and D'Lila Combs, both 17; released a statement about Porter's 2018 death and also defended Sean "Diddy" Combs, who is the father of Christian, Jessie and D'Lila.

“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, as well as about our mom’s tragic passing, that we feel the need to speak out,” the statement began.

"Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves," the children added. "Additionally, Please understand that any so-called 'friend' speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend. Nor do they have her best interests at heart."

On Sept. 19, the Daily Mail published excerpts from the book titled KIM'S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side.

The memoir was said to have been saved on a hard drive by Porter and sent to Los Angeles record producer Chris Todd. Released on Sept. 6, the book was written under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood and instantly became a bestseller on Amazon. The cover says it was penned on Porter's behalf.

In their statement, the model's children also distanced themselves from comments made on Monday by R&B singer Al B. Sure, who is Quincy's biological father.

Al B. Sure, born Albert Joseph Brown, questioned the circumstances surrounding Porter's death, following the arrest of Combs on Sept. 16.

In a string of Instagram posts, the singer requested "an investigation into an entire group of individuals who worked at or around the residence of Ms. Kimberly Porter," and tagged the FBI, Department of Justice, and CIA.

However, Porter's children said there was "no foul play" in her death.

"While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play. Grief is a lifelong process, and we ask that everyone respect our request for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day,” the statement read.

In response, Al B. Sure took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday and said Quincy, who was raised by Combs, is suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

Kim Porter, 47, died at her home in the Toluca Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles on Nov. 15, 2018.

Weeks later, the L.A. County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner released its autopsy report saying she passed away from lobar pneumonia and her death was "natural."
