The reason why it is so cheap, is this version is no longer supported, and will not get security updates. With licensing it is called a perpetual licenses, with no upgrades. Microsoft has gone to a subscription licenses, and will only keep them up to date. If you hate Microsoft then go with Ubuntu and their free office suite LibreOffice.
