After a few parties and get-togethers in the south, I realized if you put a can of Rotel in anything you can dip a chip in, that dish gets called a Rotel dip. </p><p> Rotel is a brand of canned diced tomatoes and green chilies that come in different varieties that vary in spiciness. I have cheated a time or two and made a homemade salsa using Rotel, what can I say it saves me a bunch of time and effort in the kitchen. </p><h3> We Have Festivals in Louisiana for Everything We Love to Eat, Rotel is No Exception. </h3><p> Louisiana has all kinds of festivals specifically surrounding our favorite foods. Shreveport has Taco Wars and Mudbug Madness. These are two huge events that our community looks forward to every single year. Why not add another food festival that can potentially blow up for our town? </p><h3> If You Think You Make the Best Rotel Dip in Shreveport Your Time Has Come. </h3><p> Make your best Rotel dip and show off your culinary skills at Rotel Fest on October 26th at Louisiana Daiquiri Cafe. If you would prefer to show up and try different Rotel dips, you can just pay $20 at the door. There will also be live music and entertainment. </p><p> Who doesn’t want to sip on daiquiris and take little snack breaks throughout your day drinking on Saturday?
