    Felony Amount of Liquid Meth Seized from Bruce Man

    On September 18, 2024, the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department Patrol Division seized a felony amount of liquid methamphetamine.

    The Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff's Department reports that while conducting Narcotics Operations in the daytime hours, they stopped a driver for a traffic violation in the Algoma area of Pontotoc County.

    According to the Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office, the driver of the vehicle seemed disoriented and was acting nervous. The officers placed the driver under arrest and searched the vehicle as well as the driver's body.

    The officers discovered liquid methamphetamine and a pipe used for smoking the methamphetamine upon searching the vehicle. The perpetrator, Bradley Eugene Goodwin, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia as well as a number of traffic violations.

    Goodwin also had an outstanding warrant from Pontotoc County Sheriff's Department. Goodwin was booked into the Adult Detention Center in Pontotoc County. An investigation was conducted by the Major Case Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division and Goodwin was interrogated. During the interrogation, he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $7,500.
