A few weeks ago, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School celebrated the completion of the renovation of the iconic Hodgson Hall, says Head of School Jeff Miles. “We are so excited and we actually just had our celebration of the dedication or the rededication, I should say, of the building. Built originally in 1927, so kind of part of the original Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. We did a $10 million dollar renovation, so we basically brought it down to the studs and rebuilt every part of it. The renovations include spacious classrooms with state-of-the-art technology, a new student commons, designated faculty workspaces, small group huddle rooms, and a beautiful grand terrace with sweeping views of the mountains. So, for everyone that drives on 441, you can finally look up and see students and see people on top of the hill. So, we’re excited about it and the students love it. They are using the space exactly as we had hoped and it’s been transformative for our community.” Hodgson Hall is Rabun Gap’s main academic building and serves as a beacon of education.
