Stone Cold Steve Austin Says He Doesn’t Believe In CTE

Stone Cold Steve Austin has a very controversial take on chronic traumatic encephalopathy, otherwise known as CTE.

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was featured on episode six of the Mr. McMahon documentary . While discussing the belief that the Chris Benoit murder-suicide could have been caused by CTE, Austin had a very interesting take on the situation.

“I worked for a long time. I got dropped on my head one time; I got concussed there,” Steve Austin said. “But other than that I can’t remember having too many concussions in the business of pro wrestling. And my take on that has always been if you were just wrestling and you got a bunch of concussions, you’re probably doing something wrong. I’m not a CTE guy, I just don’t believe in it.”
