Burrage, a four-year player for the Eagles, has taken on the mantle of leadership with remarkable poise and dedication.</p><p>In a recent thrilling game against Malvern, Burrage’s nerves were palpable as he led an inexperienced offensive line against formidable competition. However, his ability to rally and motivate his teammates played a crucial role in the Eagles’ win. “I was very nervous the entire game,” Burrage admitted. “But throughout the game, I was able to get them pumped up and ready to play.”</p><p>Burrage’s journey with Valley Christian football began thanks to Coach Hake, whose inspiring motivational speeches fueled Burrage’s passion for the game. “Coach Hake just motivates me and makes me really want to play,” he shared.</p><p>As the eldest sibling, Burrage takes his leadership role seriously, both on and off the field. “I try to be the best example I possibly can for them,” he said, speaking of his younger brothers who look up to him.</p><p>When asked about his future in football, Burrage remains optimistic but contemplative. “I don’t know yet. I got to see how I feel after this.
