DOWNSTATE — Five weeks into the high school football season, 11 Delaware teams are still undefeated.
And since several of them still have to face each other, there’s only a small number of squads that will even have a chance of finishing with a perfect record.
A pair of 3-0 teams, Woodbridge and Sussex Central, square off on Friday night in Georgetown.
All the rest of the state’s squads — and even the unbeaten ones — know they still have a lot of work to do.
Half of those teams will figure out a way to get a win this week while the other half will go back to the drawing board.
Here’s our predictions for this weekend’s local football games:
Andy Walter, Daily State News: 41-7
Tim Mastro, free-lance writer: 36-12
Glenn Frazer, 302 Sports : 43-5
