I know just how hard it is to lose your best friend ever. I lost mine but I couldn't be with her because I was in a nursing home and I cry about losing her and she died all alone on a stainless steel counter. I couldn't even hold her paw to let her know she wasn't alone .That I loved her so much and will never ever forget her. Her name was Littlebit. She was a rescue that my brother and best friend brought me while I was laid up with a broken tailbone. All they said was we have a present for you and there she was this littlebitty black ball of fur which the pos were going to drown her if they didn't take her. So that's where the name Littlebit.I am so sorry for your loss for such a beautiful precious innocent boy.Try to get some rest and just love on his sister triple time
