TooJay’s Deli, known for its authentic New York-style deli fare, raised nearly $7,000 for Feeding Florida during National Deli Month in August. Through a special Deli Month menu, TooJay’s committed to donating 10% of sales from the limited time menu to the statewide food bank network, aiding their efforts to provide meals to individuals and families in need.

“TooJay’s has always been about more than just great food — we are also about community,” said CEO Mark Kirke. “We are thrilled to have partnered with Feeding Florida during National Deli Month, and we’re grateful to our loyal guests whose support helped us make this contribution to help end hunger.”

Feeding Florida is the state’s only network of food banks working to unite nine Feeding America affiliated food banks across the state to provide a healthy, adequate and consistent food supply to every community every day. This contribution will provide more than 42,000 meals to children, seniors, low-income workers, single parents, veterans and unhoused individuals in need.

“We are grateful to have TooJay’s as a long-standing partner and we appreciate their generous donation,” said Robin Safley, CEO of Feeding Florida. “Financial donations go a long way in supporting our mission to provide meals to Floridians in need. TooJay’s continued commitment shows how community partners can join our efforts to fight hunger and strengthen our communities across the state.”
