From the looks of it, Snoop Dogg and his music will be transcending yet another time period as he secures a whole new fan base in Generation Alpha.
The youngsters, known as the demographic of people following Gen Z and born between 2010 and 2024, are apparently proving themselves fans of the Death Row Records owner's—that is, if Michael Bublé 's 6-year-old daughter, Vida , and her classmates are anything to judge by.
During a recent visit to Late Night , the "Holly Jolly Christmas" crooner chatted with host Seth Meyers about recently discovering his little one is actually a big fan of the rapper's.
"Gonna sound weird," Bublé admitted as he began the origin story. "So before I left for The Voice , she goes, 'Papi, are you gonna sing with Snoop?' And I go, 'What?'"

He went on, further explaining that upon asking his child how she knew Snoop Dogg, he was directed to an album of the "Drop It Like It's Hot" artist's that he was seemingly unaware of.
"This is no sugar on this," he said, emphasizing that he wasn't exaggerating how it all went down. "She goes, 'Alexa, play Snoop Dogg "Affirmations,"'" Bublé revealed, "And all of a sudden, this music comes on, and it's Snoop saying, 'My family loves me so much,' and she starts going, 'My family loves me so much,'" he sang.
He continued, "And it turns out, her kindergarten teacher Miss Pasile, every morning, hugs all the kids, and then they sit down, and they play Snoop Dogg 'Affirmations.'"
The track comes from the music legend's 2022 kid's album Doggyland , which he made for his own grandchildren . In addition to "Affirmations," it features hit nursery rhyme-style tunes like "Please & Thank You," "Sharing Is Caring," "Everybody's Different," "Wheels on the Bus," and more, all with a hip-hop twist.
As for how the meeting happened, Bublé further revealed that Vida asked if she could "make a video" for the Baby Boy actor, to which her dad obliged, going on to proudly show it to the rapper while they were on-set together for the first time .
"I showed him, and he was so cute. It really, really moved him. He's a beautiful soul," the holiday jingle singer said. "And he goes, 'Mike... Mike, you're telling me in Vancouver, that those kindergarteners listen to Uncle Snoop every day?'"
The comment was met with laughter from the crowd, who seemed to love the heartwarming story.
"I made that for my grandkids, and it was so important to reach them in a positive way," Bublé recalled the rapper explaining of the project, as he called Snoop a "sweetie pie."
