<body><div><figure><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=3eLS9a_0vjNOm8200" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=3eLS9a_0vjNOm8200" width="800" height="450" ></figure><p>Earlier this year California-based fast-food chain <b>Jack in the Box</b> announced it was looking to open 10 locations in Central Florida, and it looks like they’ve picked a location for the first one.</p><p>The first Orlando-area location of Jack in the Box since 1980 will be opening soon in Lake Nona.</p><p>The brand had several locations in Central Florida in the 1970s, but by 1980, they were all closed due to the parent company at the time choosing to concentrate on its locations in the west and southwest.</p><p>Jack in the Box is known for its fan-favorite menu that features burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, breakfast, and late-night snacking options. They recently partnered with Marvel for “Deadpool and Wolverine” mini-chimichangas.</p><p>“We currently operate a globally recognized family dining concept, but we see the business opportunity in the quick-service segment,” said Dan Soma, Orlando-based Jack in the Box franchisee in a company press release.</p><p>“We’ve been looking for a brand partner that’s well known nationally and that provides us with an opportunity for scale. We believe we’ve found this with Jack in the Box, and we are excited about this new partnership and opportunity to serve the greater Orlando community.”</p><p>According to the <i>Orlando Business Journal</i>, the restaurant’s first Orlando-area location will be located on the east side of Narcoossee Road at 10105 William Carey Drive in Lake Nona. The site was originally to be a new Del Taco, but is being reconfigured. Jack in the Box acquired Del Taco in 2022.</p><p>According to the company, the new location will offer dine-in, drive-thru, and mobile ordering options, along with a loyalty program, and will be open 24 hours per day.</p><p>An opening date has not been set just yet, but when we hear of one, we’ll let you know.
