Victim identified in deadly shooting north of downtown Wichita

Wichita police have released the identity of the man who was killed in a shooting shortly after 8:00 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of N. Topeka, north of the downtown area.

Police arrived and found 50-year-old Ronnie Wallace of Wichita with a gunshot; he was hospitalized, and pronounced deceased.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 316-267-2111, submitting a tip online, or submitting a tip through their mobile app.
