(WLOS) — A juvenile was the victim of a Sept. 23 shooting after he and a partner attempted a home invasion of a house on Allen Avenue, according to the Asheville Police Department.Police say that same house was the target of another home invasion that reportedly happened on Aug. 11.APD officials tell News 13 they were attempting to enter this home but it does not look like they were successful to make entry. News 13 has also learned that the shooting victim was a local high school student.Police say they have substantial physical evidence and are piecing it all together with their team. They are now looking at the possibility of this being connected to the previous break-in at the same location."So we’re exploring that possibility. That possibility...that’s still part of the investigation," Capt.
