DARTMOUTH, Mass. – Powered by 17 service aces, the UMass Dartmouth women's volleyball team defeated Massachusetts Maritime Academy, 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-6) in non-conference action on Tuesday evening. The Corsairs improve to 11-3 on the season, while the Buccaneers slip to 2-6. The home team was paced by rookie right side Olivia Seutter, who notched 12 kills with no errors on 18 attempts for a .667 percentage. She added two block assists and a dig. Senior outside hitter Kate Wade posted seven kills and just three errors on 26 swings, adding an assist, an ace and four digs, while junior defensive specialist Emily Pogorelec notched a match-best six aces with 11 digs on the night. Sophomore setter Skye Peters added 19 assists with four aces and six digs.
