This Miniature Pinscher Whose Owner Was Forced To Surrender Is Now Up North And Searching For Love

(MA) Meet Noah, an adorable little Miniature Pinscher puppy who is full of love and ready to share it. This one-year-old pup was briefly family to a loving owner. Sadly, the owner lost her home and had to be hospitalized for cancer rehab, forcing her to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender Noah.

Thankfully, Great Dog Rescue New England was there to bring Noah into their care. Since then, he has lived with two foster families, one down South and her current one up North. Both fosters have had nothing but great things to say about him! So you can rest assured that when you make the decision to adopt Noah, you will not be disappointed!

"Oh Mr. Noah! He’s doing great- definitely a bit of a velcro dog and seriously so adorable. Noah is the sweetest little guy who just wants to love and be loved.!"- Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    More Information On Noah

Noah is a 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher mix pup who weighs, as of 9/24/24, approximately 15 pounds. Noah has a short coat length, which is listed as being yellow, tan, blond, fawn, gray, blue, and silver. That's a lot of color and, in my opinion, the patterns they make on his coat are very handsome! He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Noah is a very loving pup with a lot of energy. His favorite thing in life is going for a long walk or hike and following it up with a snuggle on the couch. He also loves playing fetch and playing in general with other dogs, especially little ones like him. He is also quite the jumper, with his fosters joking that he has springs for legs. He mostly uses his spring legs to let you know he wants to be held!

As far as training goes, Noah is house-trained and is doing well with crate training. His fosters are currently working on his leash skills and manners. They have found he responds well to verbal cues and is highly food-motivated. For those reasons, continued training shouldn't be too difficult for any potential adopters. It should be noted that Noah has a bit of a prey drive and can be a little mouthy, so GDRNE recommends he go to a home without small animals or children. This is not to say he is mean or aggressive at all, just that he is still learning his manners.

"He is such a sweet little guy and deserves a sHe warms up to women a little quicker than men (probably because he lived in a female household) but is definitely doing well with males here too as long as they are patient. This boy is wonderful!"- Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder
