The festival unofficially kicked off on Sunday with the Happy Hookers Bass Fishing Tournament down at Stratton Park.Winning first place was DJ Ragan and Anthony Fazio with a total weight of 10.34 pounds, second place was Trey Budach and Zach Seyller with 10.14 pounds and Bryan Partak along with Anna Moody finished in third. Corn Fest Committee member Jim Maskel highlights some of the activities today. Meanwhile, the Queen Coronation Parade will start in the 500 block of Liberty Street and conclude in the 900 block at 6 p.m. as the Queen Coronation will happen afterwards on the Jackson Street Stage.Maskel said the Morris High School and Coal City High School Band and Choir performances will then happen on the Jackson Street Stage at 6:30 followed by the WCSJ/WJDK Talent Show. The carnival will begin at 5 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m.; the annual water fights between different fire agencies will happen on Washington Street at 6 p.m. and music bingo in the beer tent starts 7 p.m. For other activities throughout the day and the week, visit cornfestival.org. </div></body>
