First, he shows his daughter's friend, Montse watching downloaded movies with earbuds and gives her a 3/10. She seemed to be enjoying the movie. After this, Zach is seen practicing his signature on the phone to use it when he gets his credit card. The dad rates him a solid 7/10. After this, he shows his daughter playing Candy Crush on her phone and gives her a 4/10. Next, all the kids are seen using their phones in a lodge. People in the comments shared their views on the kids' activities. @_samuel.robbins_ commented, "Just get outside and do something, man! It just breaks my heart to see kids spending so much unhealthy time on devices." @will.ha412 wrote, "Pull out a board game bro, or start a game of charades. Man, be the parent." @Elisekinsey shared, "Sometimes the best place to play phone games is places with no WiFi or data, bc then the game ads don’t pop up every .5 seconds!" @marismay35 expressed, "This generation could never have survived the 70/80's." @permkillz said, "Sometimes that’s the exact type of vacation you need. Go to a nice place and do absolutely nothing for a few days. He said that he took his Gen Z daughter, Daley with a few of her friends to a cabin in Boundary Waters in Ely, Minnesota for a retreat. He shared that during the day they went to swim in the natural water and did canoeing but during the evenings they really struggled to find things to keep themselves busy. Silberman said that there was no TV or WiFi in their cabin. "They played a lot of cards, including Uno and poker, and they played the board game called Catan. My daughter was playing Candy Crush like a middle-aged aunt too," he recalled. He added that he also enjoyed playing cards with the kids. </p><p>The man said, "We played Widow a lot, and Zach really was practicing his signature over and over again. I think he was about to get his first credit card, so he was practicing for that. When I was a kid, we did that on paper in high school, but now they do it on their phone." He shared that he made the video because he was amused by the unusual activities that the teenagers picked up. He thought the best was Zach practicing his signature as it was "so weird and funny.". The dad also loved how the kids interacted without distractions. However, there was a lodge about 50 yards away from the cabin which had an internet connection. So, once or twice a day they would walk to that place to reconnect with the outside world. Silberman said, "I thought this was funny because it's rare that their generation is forced to be off of their phones.
