This season the girls defense lead the way and they were able to defeat Los Gatos in their own pool for the first time since 2010 a whopping span of 14 years. </p><p>Junior Grace Henderson lead the team with 5 goals, followed by Senior Katie Spitzer who had one outside laser shot and a garbage push back goal that all water polo players love to get! Sophomore Sabrina Meyers tallied two goals one each in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Freshman Ceci Ryans finished off the scoring with a beautiful counter attack goal in the 4th to end the 14 year drought for the lady vikes. </p><p>The girls now stand at 5-0 in league play and 8-3 on the year. The team currenly is ranked 8th in the greater Bay Area by the San Jose Mercury. </p><p>Come cheer on the Lady Vikes when they face their cross town rival Titans at 6:00 PM this Thursday the 26th at home. </p></div></body>
