Humane Rescue Alliance to host its 37th annual ‘Bark Ball’

WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Humane Rescue Alliance is hosting its 37th Annual Bark Ball on Oct. 5 to raise money and celebrate animals in the community.

The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Washington Hilton at 1919 Connecticut Ave. in Northwest D.C.

The organization said this is the only black-tie event in the District where people are encouraged to bring their dogs.

The event will feature music from The Georgetown Saxatones, an artist performing speed painting, a live auction, photo booths, caricature artists, a dog treat bar and signature cocktails.

Stacey Rusch, a new cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac, will be the emcee of the event.
