<body><div><img src="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?type=thumbnail_580x000&amp;url=0gofPD_0vjnpUMd00" alt="https://img.particlenews.com/image.php?url=0gofPD_0vjnpUMd00" width="1320" height="743" >Annapolis (WBFF) — A 21-year-old man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for fatally shooting his friend outside a restaurant in 2022, according to Anne Arundel County Police.Police say that on December 3rd, 2022, Officers were called to a restaurant in Edgewater and found 26-year-old, Luis Angel Meza-Santiago in a parking lot with a gunshot wound.Officers canvassed the area for a suspect and eventually found Alexander Salinas who had returned to the scene.Police learned that both individuals were attending that restaurant with a large party of people and the group ended up moving outside.Salinas then pulled out a firearm and fired a single shot toward the group, ultimately killing Meza-Santiago, according to police.The State’s Attorney, Anne Colt Leitess stated "The Defendant fired a shot at a group of individuals with the intent to kill or severely injure someone and ended up killing his friend instead. This was senseless gun violence and the victim's life was taken away by this impulsive act.”</div></body>
