Abington capped the week with two more triumphs in a tri-match hosted by Wilkes University. The Nittany Lions defeated Bard College (W, 3-1) and host Colonels (W, 3-2). Grimm paced the Abington offense with 8.5 assists per set, including a stretch of three straight 30-plus assist performances. Against Delaware Valley, Grimm totaled 35 assists; one shy of her season-high at the time, to go along with 12 digs. She opened the tri-match at Wilkes with 37 assists to set a new season-high against Bard and then improved on that mark with 39 assists versus the Colonels. She also finished the week averaging 2.18 digs per set and totaled eight aces.Through 13 matches this season, Grimm is averaging 7.54 assists per set and has totaled 25 aces. She is also averaging 2.56 digs per set on defense.Abington (11-2, 0-0 UEC) will look to extend its current five-match winning streak as the Nittany Lions hit the road to face Saint Elizabeth University in a non-conference contest.
