In a report, BRPD says Bell caught a potential burglary suspect who was allegedly trying to steal from a school in the 5800 block of Packard Street on Friday, Sept. 6. Police say that the burglary suspect accused Bell of hitting him in the head with a gun. Bell allegedly told BRPD officers that he was a reserve law enforcement officer with a local agency, but BRPD says further investigation showed that was not true.
