Michael Kay has heard enough from “mouth-breathing lowlifes” who think he’s taking “marching orders” from the New York Yankees.

The YES Network play-by-play announcer went on a highly entertaining rant Wednesday during The Michael Kay Show . Kay began by talking about something he said during Tuesday’s Yankees game. He noted young slugger Jasson Domínguez has been a defensive liability in left field recently. He said that might prompt the club to leave him off the postseason roster and stick Alex Verdugo, a better defender, in his spot.

That led Kay to talk about “damaged” Yankees fans who blasted him on social media, claiming he mentioned that scenario to sell that as a possible strategy by Yankees general manager Brian Cashman.

“Domínguez had a rough road trip in left field. He did,” Kay said. “But clownheads, mouth-breathers right away jumped me.”

Kay is tired of hearing from those critics.

“And then it turned into, ‘Well obviously, he’s gotten his marching orders from Cashman and the gaslighting is beginning so that when they don’t have Domínguez starting, he’s already paved the way,” Kay said. “As if me, on my show and on the game, that I could actually pave the way for the fans not to freak out.

“So here’s my deal. I’m going to make an offer that I’ve never made before. So those fans that say I got my marching orders from Cashman, I give you a standing offer of $10,000 right now, $10,000 cash … if you can prove that over the last two months of this year, that I’ve had any interaction with Brian Cashman. Walking by him, saying hello, texts, anything, email, any kind of phone conversation.

“If you mouth-breathing lowlifes can prove that I’ve had interaction with Brian Cashman, where he could quote-unquote, ‘give me his marching orders,’ $10,000 when you give me the proof.”

There you go, Yankees fans — there’s $10,000 for the taking if you can prove Kay is a puppet for Cashman.

Co-host Don La Greca seemed very entertained by the offer.

“I gotta tell you, it would be worth it for somebody out there to do the work if you could,” La Greca said.

    “Do the work!” Kay responded.
