The sheriff’s department is all organized crime. Why they don’t investigate every officer is unacceptable at this point. Do your best but you can’t find a deputy who is a good person. They break the law but show up to tell you whether you can or not. If you call the sheriff it will be a bad experience. And that’s all you get in Spokane valley. The city just lets them continue to operate without any oversight. If you hire bad people and don’t keep them on a leash, you get the Spokane county sheriffs. The only people who get arrested in Spokane county are first time offenders. You know why that is right? If you are a first time offender, you usually have something to take. Repeat offenders are left unbothered, and allowed to break the law.

Good! Because “10 or 15 years ago”, officers were getting away with more egregious things than and like this. Who’s going to keep officers accountable to actually FULLY learn the laws they’ve supposedly sworn to uphold? Obviously Hilton needs to go back to the Police Academy. What other Spokane County officers don’t fully know the law either?
