(WCHS) — A woman has been arrested in connection with a shooting that injured one person in Kanawha County in August, court records said.Dominique Marie Ely, 30, was taken into custody relating to an incident that happened on Aug. 22 when policed responded to a reported shooting at the Davidson Avenue and Church Drive intersection in the Rand community, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Kanawha County Magistrate Court.Upon arrival, detectives found two victims, one of them being Andre Jenkins who had been shot in the arm and was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center for treatment.After reviewing video of the incident, authorities learned the Ely was on the scene with a male suspect who had an assault rifle and after an altercation, fired several rounds at the victims. Ely was then seen getting into a vehicle, followed the by male suspect, before fleeing the scene.According to the complaint, the investigation identified that the vehicle was registered in Ely’s name and that authorities had conducted interviews identifying her as a suspect.Ely is accused of assisting the male suspect in the shooting and escape and faces charges of accessory, malicious or unlawful assault and endangerment with a firearm.</div></body>
