Another Emotional Mat Moment Leads to an Alpha Male's Blindside on 'Survivor 47'

Last week's premiere got Survivor 47 off to a hot, but messy, start. This week, things only got messier. The idol hunts continued across the tribes, with some getting caught with others' advantages red-handed, while the caution of other players lead to idols disappearing from under their nose. A hard-fought loss prompted yet another person to get emotional on the mat, rubbing their tribe the wrong way. And, in their first vote, the majority was flipped on its head, as the self-proclaimed "leader" was blindsided.
Terran "TK" Foster came into this week feeling like he was the quarterback. The NFL marketing manager had single-handedly won supplies for his tribe, and fell in quickly with the men. But, worried he couldn't trust Gabe Ortis , he brought Tiyana Hallums instead as a reliable trio. Despite TK's clear physical assets, he was a social liability, as his ego and lack of manners was leaving him in a surprisingly vulnerable position. This culminated after losing the challenge, where TK called out anyone who was smiling in defeat, saying he wasn't comfortable in losing and wanted to make sure his tribe had the same mindset. Tiyana had a particularly notable reaction to his rant, as she doubted her desire to work with him. At Tribal Council, TK was confident outsider Sue Smey would be gone, talking to her about the lack of connections she had made. But Sue's connections were what saved her and spurned TK, as Tiyana joined the secret alliance of Gabe, Sue, and Caroline Vidmar to blindside him.
Were any advantages found or played on the Survivor 47 tonight?
Yes! Rome was finally able to unlock his Beware Advantage by the light of day. Considering he came up on two others reading it, he decided to play it safe and take the idol good for one Tribal Council. Meanwhile, on Gata, Andy initially found the tribe's Beware Advantage, but put it back to grab it later. That allowed Sam to swoop in, grab the Beware Advantage, and find the idol himself. He also chose to take the idol good for one Tribal Council.
Meanwhile, Gabe played the idol that he found in the premiere at this episode's Tribal Council. He chose to protect himself with it, but nullified no votes against him. It remains to be seen if another idol will be hidden on Tuku's beach.
He was too aggressive. It is like these players never watched the show. They will kick out a smart, capable physical player if he/she shows positive or negative leadership skills very early. TK was smart and capable but very annoying. He was a good choice to send packing.
